    A common question

    Greetings and Salutations,

I have already been asked on many occasions to explain the meaning behind my title, Master of the Shadowcloak.  So, I feel I need to post something explaining it to open.  Feel free to comment on this, and let me know if it makes any sense at all.  This mostly came from a message I sent just the other day, but I think I captured the basic concept.

    Master of the Shadowcloak...
It's kind of a philosophical view really. I don't believe in the concept of Good and Evil, not in the classic sense. I do, however, believe in Light and Dark. It's not necessarily an omniscient pair of entities or strict guidelines that will reward or condemn us based on our actions, though I do believe in a certain degree of karma. It's more a matter intent. Intention can color actions Light and Dark, although the way your actions are viewed by those affected by your actions also adds some shading.
As a result, there is a very, very fine line between Light and Dark...a veil you might say, or perhaps even, a cloak, sheltering Light from Dark, but a cloak also lets some of that Dark through, as a shadow cast by the Light. Light and Dark merging create this cloak of shadows. It is in that shadow that I strive to walk. Light and Dark can both be blinding, but in the shadows, if we can sort through the tricks and illusions, straying only a little into the Light and Darkness to see the truths, we can find the 'perfect' path. So, I work to master that cloak. I dwell in shadow. Master of the Shadowcloak.

    Master of Shadows

    I've done some good
    Been called saint
    I've done some bad
    Been called a sinner

    I've messed things up
    Been called a wimp
    I've won the gold
    Been called a winner

    I've been right
    I've been wrong
    I've cut things short
    And been gone too long

    I'll live forever
On my way up to the gallows
    Neither light nor dark
    I walk the gray
    Master of Shadows
